The 2026 Summer Conference features keynote speaker TCEQ Commissioner Tonya Miller, and topics including Texas' water awareness campaign, TCEQ water toxicology, El Niño &Texas weather, growth & groundwater, water management & AI, legal and engineering ethics, and presentations from TWA's Water Quality and Federal Affairs Committees.

CLE Credit Information

Course Title: TWA Summer Conference

Credit Hours: Conference attendees are eligible for up to 4.5 hours of CLE credit, including 1.0 hour of Ethics credit.

The following Summer Conference presentations are eligible for CLE credit:

Thursday, June 18 (2.0 hours)
  • River Authorities Panel: (1.0 hour total)

  • Federal Affairs Updates (0.5 hours)
  • Fireside Chat on Growth & Groundwater with Dr. Glenn Rogers (0.5 hours)
Friday, June 19 (2.5 hours, including 1.0 hour Ethics)
  • Water Quality Committee Updates: Post-Sackett WOTUS Rules – Is Stormwater an Afterthought? (0.5 hours)
  • Rethinking Water Management with AI (.5 hours)
  • Legal Ethics: AI in the Law (1.0 hour Ethics)

A certificate of attendance will be available after the conference for engineers, geoscientists, and other professionals who wish to maintain a record of continuing education.

Conference Policies

Registration Cancellations: Registrations canceled by the early bird deadline, May 22, will receive a full refund less a 10% processing fee. After this date, registrations are non-refundable (except in cases of emergency).

Room Block Registration Date: TWA has a limited number of rooms at Horseshoe Bay Resort and the hotel cutoff date is May 18. The TWA Room Block is exclusively for registered attendees.

Room Cancellations. Last-minute cancellations can lead to penalties for TWA, even with a long waitlist for rooms in our block. If your plans change, please DO NOT cancel a room with the hotel. Instead, email us so we can reassign the room to someone on the waitlist.

Room Block Waitlist. If your full request is not available, please book the nights available through the room block link, then complete the waitlist form to request any additional night(s).
