About Texas Water Day

In non-Texas legislative years, TWA members visit the nation's capital to meet with federal lawmakers and agency leaders to discuss policies that impact Texas water. Together, we highlight challenges and opportunities and advocate for sound water policies that support a secure, sustainable water future for our state.

Texas Water Day 2026 – April 21–22

TWA leadership will travel to Washington, D.C., for Texas Water Day 2026 to meet with key members of the Texas delegation to discuss our 2026 Federal Priorities.

TWA members are invited to join us in D.C. to visit with their own delegation and engage in discussions on Texas water priorities. TWA is planning to host a member reception and dinner on Tuesday, April 21. If you are considering participating in Texas Water Day, please fill out this interest form by February 9. Your response helps us prepare for this event and is not an obligation to attend.

Related Events

As we did in 2024, we are holding our event in concert with the National Waterways Conference Legislative Summit, April 20–22, allowing members to attend both events if desired. This event offers opportunities for stakeholders to discuss federal policies, programs, and priorities shaping the nation's water resources and infrastructure.
