About Texas Water Day

In non-Texas legislative years, TWA members visit the nation's capital to meet with federal lawmakers and agency leaders to discuss policies that impact Texas water. Together, we highlight challenges and opportunities and advocate for sound water policy for Texas.

2026 Texas Water Day: April 21–22

TWA leadership is traveling to Washington, D.C., for Texas Water Day 2026 to meet with key members of the Texas delegation to discuss our 2026 Federal Priorities.

TWA members and guests are invited to join us in Washington D.C. during Texas Water Day 2026 to engage in discussions on Texas water priorities and connect with fellow members and federal policymakers. Congressional office and federal agency visits will be coordinated on your own.

Register to join us at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 21, for networking and roundtable discussions before dinner at 7:30 pm. Dinner ticket price is $100 per person. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

2026 Related Events

Our event will be held in coordination with the National Waterways Conference Legislative Summit and the Interstate Council on Water Policy and Western States Water Council Roundtable, allowing attendees the opportunity to participate in multiple events if desired.
